Dandelion – Resilience behind the silence
Dandelion is a call to see beyond the label of ‘offender’ and recognise every young person’s capacity for healing, growth, and hope.
- Director’s Message
Dandelion takes viewers inside Mongolia’s juvenile detention centre to hear directly from young people about their hidden struggles with mental health. Through intimate storytelling, the film reveals their experiences of trauma, the weight of social and family pressures, and the stigma they face. At the same time, it uncovers their resilience, dreams, and the quiet strength that persists even in the harshest conditions.
