This documentary sheds light on the severe issue of stunting in East Nusa Tenggara, where underdeveloped healthcare systems contribute to alarmingly high rates. The film explores the root causes—poor maternal nutrition, inadequate hygiene, and financial insecurity—through personal stories and expert insights. It highlights the efforts of the 1000 Days Fund, which empowers local health workers to combat stunting within their communities. The documentary calls for nationwide action to address stunting—one child, one family, and one community at a time.

1000 Days Fund
The 1000 Days Fund, officially registered as “Yayasan Seribu Cita Bangsa”, established in 2019, is a non-profit focused on eradicating stunting in Indonesia. Operating across 22+ islands, the Fund collaborates with community health workers (CHWs), local governments, and stakeholders to deliver maternal and newborn healthcare. By equipping and training 63,000 CHWs, the Fund has conducted 370,000 in-home malnutrition screenings and reduced stunting by up to 31% in targeted districts. Combining data-driven insights with traditional methods, the 1000 Days Fund has become a key player in driving policy change and improving child health outcomes across the country.
