Hello Sister
Based in South Sumatra, Indonesia, the Hello Sister Project is a youth-led women’s empowerment initiative addressing sexual violence in higher education. In response to alarming campus statistics, it promotes preventive, participatory action through creative and educational strategies—seminars, films, digital campaigns, and advocacy—to build safe spaces, raise awareness, and empower students, especially young women, to lead change. By fostering collaboration among students, institutions, and civil society, the project seeks to transform universities into environments of safety, equality, and mutual respect.
